Cub Scout Pack 213

The Scouting year for Pack 213 will be coming to and end soon. That means if your Scouts have not made rank yet, it is time for the big push. Lets all help each other and all the Scouts get thier ranks. But remember this, just because the Scout year is coming to an end for the summer, The Pack will still be doing things during the summer. Keep an eye here for any updates on our summer program. Also, get you Scouts signed up for the Cub Scout Summer Day Camp. About Us

Cub Scout Pack 213

Pack 213 is chartered By the Saint Paul Catholic School in Leesburg, Florida. 213 was chartered in 2003 with seven scouts, it has built itself into one of the largest packs in Lake County with more than 50 scouts. The pack has a group of parent leaders that are fully deticated to the scouts, and go the extra mile to show the scouts the way of Akela.

Pack 213 goes camping several times a year to the Boy Scout camp ground just outside of Paisly, Florida in the Ocala National Forrest. The pack attends some of the specialized camps like the "Tiger Growl" and the "WEBELOS Outdoor Adventure".

Each year Pack 213 crosses Cub Scouts over to Boy Scout Troop 233 in a great Bridge Crossing Ceremony during the annual Blue and Gold Banquet in February. During this time the WEBELOS can be awarded the Arrow of Light, Which is the highest award that a Cub Scout can earn. For every year the pack has crossed scouts over, almost every one has achieved the Arrow of Light award.

Announcements

Well the final Pack meeting of the Scout year is upon us. This will be a fun ice cream social for all the Scouts and thier famalies, and there may even be some announcments. So lets give a great big hand to all the Scouts for all the hard work they have put in this year to earn thier ranks on the Cub Scout Trail and in thier adventure towards being a Boy Scout. For those that have moved up this year, you will be missed. For those that will be going into your last year as a Cub Scout, look forward to next February. It will be here before you know it, and you adventure in life as a Boy Scout will begin. This is a great adventure for our boys and will provide them with many essential tools for life.

But most of all, Thankyou to all the parents that have stepped up and worked within the Pack as a leader, a committee member or whatever you may have done to help the Pack. Without you, we could not have an operational Pack. On that note, please consider continueing you service to the Pack. If you just could not help out this year, please consider taking on a responsability for the next Scout year. The committe will meet within the next few months and come up with a list of everything the Pack will need for the upcoming year and communicate it to everyone. Untill then, enjoy what you have learned in Cub Scouts and look forward to more adventures.
